Laurie
makes her living by creating artworks, of painting, photography and clay
jewelry. She is also a farmer, running the farm along with her husband,
Jeff and their children. They have been growing berries for many years,
and probably will for many more!. Strawberries have always been our
specialty!
The Bellmore family grows flowers, a few mixed vegetables, pick-your
own strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries They grow their products
alternatively, using no spray and low spray techniques, producing safe,
healthy products that they are proud to sell to their customers!
They also produce fresh preservative free balsam fir Christmas wreaths,
roping & centerpieces, that are shipped throughout the U.S.A. as great
gifts for friends and relatives! Ordering in November for Christmas season
deliveries!
Their farming practice has become diversified over
their many years of learning to live from the land. Which means that they
do many different things throughout the year to produce a living for their
family. From one season to the next they are always busy, as it takes a
whole year to produce a berry crop or months to grow the flowers!
In addition to farming in the summer, Jeff is a Master Maine Guide &
Captain, and Laurie produces her art in the winter months.
All of their products are available through the farmers markets that
they are involved with, Camden, Boothbay and Damariscotta.
The farmstand
and greenhouses are open in Warren, on weekends, in
the spring for flowers, and then again on weekends at Christmastime with fresh
wreaths, trees and Laurie's artworks. The u-pick field is open in season,
when we have pick your own strawberries. For questions on stand hours,
